We all live in a magnificent world.
The world is huge and filled with so many people.
What can all these people do?
We can create, we can change, and we can destroy in so many ways.
We are born to think.
We are born to experience.
For better or for worse, we all [[struggle]] in so many ways.I am a person who hopes that they can create.
To become a creator.
I love story telling.
I love writing.
I would like to share with you a story.A little girl named Lina lives in a quiet suburban home. She is very young, healthy, and curious about everything around her. Lina is cared for by her single working mother who loves her very much. The child may throw tantrums every now and then, but she spends her days happily playing with her barbie dolls, toy castles, and pony figurines. She loves watching the animated Disney VHS tapes and learning how to count coins on the Madeline computer disk games. Her favorite time of the year is Christmas and she eventually learns that it is also her birthday!
She was happy. As time went by Lina grew not only in body size, but in the capacity of her mind as well. She took a liking to learning and going to school. She loved making new friends and having sleepovers. Watching more and more VHS cartoons and movies when she got home made the time seem to fly by. She also loved playing with her little sister.
She was happy.More time passed.
Lina was happy with her mom and sister. Everything was simple and happy. She eagerly looked forward to every holiday during the year. She tried new things, reading, art, writing. Book fairs, summer camps, and birthday parties.
But she began to struggle with a few things in her life.
She had a bad habit of not turning homework in on time or returning library books on time.
Sometimes she got into fights with friends over games or the newest schoolyard fads.
Things were becoming more complex.
But she was still happy.More time passed.
Lina was growing even more in both body and mind. She still eagerly looked forward to every holiday during the year. She made new friends, played more games, and watched more movies. Now she was in a new school with new routines and structure. So many things were new to her. New teachers, new classes, more homework.
She began to struggle with a few more things in her life.
She still a bad habit of not turning homework in on time or returning library books on time. She missed her friends who were in different classes. She missed not having so much work and tests. She didnt have as much time to play games or watch movies. She even had to deal with the problems of puberty.
Things were becoming more complex.
But she was still happy.
Until she lost her little sister.
Things became hopeless, sad, and pointless.
She suffered. Her mother suffered.
She wasn't happy anymore at all.More time passed.
Lina was still growing even more in both body and mind.
But she wasn't happy anymore.
Now she was in a new school with new routines and structure. So many things were new to her. New teachers, new classes, more homework.
She continued to struggle with a more things in her life.
She hated school. She hated homework. Her grades were sinking.
She didnt have any hope.
She would see a dark figure lurking near her, around her, hovering, and looming all the time.
It introduced itself to her.
It's name was Uncertainty. It was oddly friendly to her.
It kept near her closely and she soon bonded with it, talked to it, tried to understand it.
Things were still very complex.
But she managed to gather up the courage to make a few new friends and soon she began to see small rays of hope for herself.
It was enough to keep her going until she graduated.
But Uncertainty still stayed with her, trying to help in what ways it could.
She hoped she could talk to others about Uncertainty and why it was around.
Others told her that Uncertainty was terrible. That she shouldn't listen to it or be around it.
Others said Uncertainty was a bad thing that it would hurt her.
But Uncertainty never hurt Lina and she didn't understand why people hated it so much.More time passed.
Lina was still growing in mind, but no longer in body.
Now Uncertainty was by her side all the time. 24/7, 7 days a week.
But the more time passed the more she began to see other Uncertainties, all following everyone else around that she encountered, even her friends, even her mother.
It all confused her so much more.
She tried to talk to Uncertainty and ask why there were so many of him that stuck with people.
Uncertainty said that he was with everyone and that he wasn't a bad thing.
He said that he was a natural part of life, of existence.
People were afraid of Uncertainty and hated him because of that fear.
Especially for people who were creatures of thought and always thinking.
Always having to make decisions, no matter how small or big.
Things were still very complex.
But she began to understand.
Uncertainty wasn't a bad thing at all.
People don't have to have all the answers immediately.
People can take time to think about their choices and what they want to do.
It's OK.
Things seemed much less complex now.
She saw a movie that inspired her.
She decided that she wanted to have a career as a script writer.
She was finally happy again and finally certain.Lina finally had a true passion.
She embraced Uncertainty as a guiding friend.
Now she had goals, aspirations, and wanted to embrace her feelings about her decisions.
She now had hope for her future and wanted to strive for it as best she could.
She wanted to make her dreams come true.I am a person who hopes that they can **create**.
